Green Smoothie Recipe

Smoothies are a really good + easy way to sneak in some greens in your morning routine (or any routine.) This smoothie is good anytime of the day but I prefer to drink it second thing in the morning after I’ve rehydrated with water after 8 hours of sleep. It’s especially good for digestion because it contains ginger and other fiber rich fruit.

The best thing about my green smoothie other than it’s miraculous nutritional value is the flavor. You’ll soon learn that I won’t eat or drink anything that tastes less than bomb and this smoothie was no exception.

I won’t drag out this post because I know what you’re here for. So, let’s get to it.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 2 cups apple juice (or 1 cup of coconut water + 1 cup of apple juice)

  • ½  cup of frozen peaches

  • ⅓  cup of frozen mangoes

  • 1 frozen *ripe* banana

  • 1 small chunk of ginger

  • A handful of spinach (Add as much as you’d like… You won’t taste it at all)

  • 3 tbsp of hemp seeds

  • 1 tbsp of moringa powder

  • 2 tsps of spirulina

After you’ve added all of your ingredients to your blender, you know what to do… BLEND for your life! If you have a blender with speed control, I highly suggest you start low and increase speed as needed. Another tip for a seamless blend experience is to add your liquid first. This makes the process a lot smoother.

As always, feel free to add or take away any ingredients that you’re not too fond of. I genuinley hope you enjoy this smoothie as much as I do. Thanks so much for being here!

xoxo
